Office Policies

1. If you feel you have an emergency, please go to the nearest hospital emergency room, or call 911 for help.

2. Appointment cancellation policy: Dr. Farber strives to spend plenty of time with you on your visits, and for you to avoid long waiting time prior to your visit and therefore no double-booking is done. As often there are patients on the waiting list, please be considerate to other patients and let Dr. Farber and his staff know of any appointment cancellation as soon as possible by calling or sending a text message to our office number (516) 714 5098, or send a message to Dr. Farber on vSee. Please note that if you don't notify Dr. Farber at least 3 business days (72 hours) in advance of the scheduled time of your appointment of cancellation, you will be responsible for a $50 late-cancellation fee.

3. Please note that if you need a refill of a control substance prescription, you would need to be seen for a visit.

4. Existing patients, may send text messages to Dr. Farber on vsee or office number or leave a voice mail on the confidential voice-mail of office (516)714-5098. Please note that Dr. Farber usually would try to respond to your message by the end of the day (9pm), but on rare occasions it may take up to 2-3 business days for Dr. Farber to get back to you.
